ORANJESTAD, ARUBA — LejuezGroup today announced the launch of Privada Suites, a new lifestyle-focused boutique property scheduled to open in December 2026 following the acquisition and repositioning of the former Bon Bini Suites, located at Schotlandstraat 59 in Oranjestad.

The project represents the next evolution of the Privada portfolio and introduces a bold new hospitality concept centered around design, art, spacious accommodations, and vibrant social experiences. Located just minutes from Eagle Beach, Privada Suites is being transformed into a colorful, retro-inspired destination designed for travelers seeking something more personal, immersive, and memorable than traditional accommodations.

The property will feature a collection of spacious one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, thoughtfully designed to combine the comfort of residential living with the energy and personality of a contemporary lifestyle destination. Every suite will feature generous living spaces, private kitchens, curated furnishings, and design elements inspired by Aruba's natural beauty, culture, and world-famous sunsets.

At the heart of the transformation is a commitment to creating an experience that feels distinctly different from anything currently available on the island. Rather than following conventional hospitality design trends, Privada Suites embraces bold colors, playful patterns, retro influences, artistic expression, and social spaces designed to encourage connection and discovery.

The outdoor environment is being completely reimagined with a vibrant pool experience, colorful lounge areas, curated landscaping, and serviced food and beverage offerings that create an atmosphere equally suited for relaxing afternoons and lively evenings. Drawing inspiration from classic Palm Springs aesthetics, Caribbean color palettes, and Aruba's laid-back lifestyle, the property aims to establish a unique identity within the island's hospitality landscape.

A defining feature of Privada Suites will be its highly individualized room design concept. The interiors are being developed by LejuezGroup's internal design team under the leadership of Gillian Lejuez, Group Director, who has overseen the property's creative vision, guest experience concept, and overall design direction.

Working alongside the internal team is renowned Aruban artist Elisa Lejuez, whose work has become a signature element across the Privada portfolio. Widely recognized as one of Aruba’s most prominent contemporary artists, Elisa Lejuez previously created the murals and artistic installations featured throughout Privada Stays Eagle and Privada Budget.

For Privada Suites, Elisa Lejuez has been commissioned to create a new collection of bespoke murals and artworks designed exclusively for the property. Inspired by Aruba's landscapes, flora, culture, architecture, and vibrant energy, the artwork will play a central role in shaping the guest experience and creating accommodations that feel distinctive, immersive, and deeply connected to the island itself.

The property's design language draws heavily from Aruba itself. Warm desert tones, tropical colors, playful geometry, custom tilework, retro-inspired details, and artistic interventions throughout the property are intended to capture the same sense of contrast that defines the island - where rugged landscapes meet turquoise waters, and where cacti stand silhouetted against some of the Caribbean's most spectacular sunsets.

As part of the repositioning, significant enhancements will be made throughout the guest accommodations, public spaces, pool environment, food and beverage facilities, landscaping, and overall guest experience.
