THE POWER OF THE
Aruban SUN
The Caribbean’s first. And only. Without offset: 100% powered by Solar.
Most hotels buy credits to “cancel out” their footprint. We didn’t.
Privada Stays Eagle is entirely off-the-grid — powered by the Aruban sun, sustained by innovation, and inspired by community.

Privada Stays Eagle don’t
just use solar energy —
it depends on it.
The entire resort runs on a closed-loop solar and battery system designed to operate fully independent of the island’s grid.
100% solar-powered energy production
24/7 intelligent battery storage ensuring comfort through day and night - as if everything is normal!
Every time you take a shower, charge your phone, or cool your room at Privada Stays Eagle, it’s all powered by sunshine.
black water,
CLEAN CONSCIENCE.
Most hotels stop talking about water once it leaves the drain.
At Privada Stays Eagle, we don’t. Because sustainability isn’t only about what you see — it’s about what happens after.
As the Caribbean’s first fully off-the-grid hotel of its scale, we treat every liter of black water as part of a responsible cycle. Instead of sending wastewater into public infrastructure or the sea, we treat and process it on-site, closing the loop entirely.
The biological treatment system naturally purifies black water through a sequence of filtration, aeration, and microbial processes — transforming waste into reusable water for irrigation and secondary systems. No chemicals. No external discharge. No shortcuts.
What that means for Aruba:
Zero sewage dependency. We operate without connecting to any public wastewater system.
Zero marine discharge. Not a single drop reaches the ocean untreated.
Closed-loop reuse. Treated water nourishes our dry landscape, feeding local flora and restoring the soil.
Educational impact. Our system serves as a model for small-scale, high-efficiency black water management in desert islands.
Black water is the final frontier of sustainability — and we’ve crossed it.
In a world where hotels talk about “green,” we talk about what happens when it turns brown — and how to make that clean again.
That’s off-the-grid. That’s Privada.
